Introduction
City University Ajman’s Dental Internship Program is a supervised post-graduate training initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic study and professional practice for BDS graduates. The program enhances clinical readiness, fosters professional responsibility, and ensures a smooth transition into independent practice.
The internship involves structured rotations across major dental specialties, including restorative dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Under expert guidance, interns engage in patient treatment, clinical case discussions, and interdepartmental collaboration. They also receive training in emergency management, infection control, communication skills, and dental ethics. Regular assessments ensure continuous progress and skill refinement, while seminars and workshops keep interns aligned with current developments in dentistry.
Hands-On Experience
Interns will assist with patient care, dental procedures, and treatment planning under the supervision of licensed dentists.
Mentorship
Our experienced dentists will provide guidance, support, and feedback to help interns improve their clinical skills.
Workshops and Seminars
Interns will have access to workshops and seminars covering a range of topics such as dental technology, patient communication, and practice management.
Networking Opportunities
Interns can network with dental professionals and build connections within the industry.
Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of the program, interns will receive a certificate to recognize their participation and achievements.
