Degree Details

  • BMus: Music Performance (4-year): Designed for students desiring an advanced foundation in musical skills, knowledge, and performance, with goals of self-employment and/or professional performing and/or graduate school paths (music and non-music options).
  • BA in Music: Biomedical Track (4-year): Designed specifically for students desiring to pursue both a music major and entrance preparation to post-graduate, biomedical programs (e.g. medicine, dentistry, etc.).
  • BA Music: Music Therapy Track (4-year): Designed for students desiring an advanced foundation in musical skills, knowledge, and performance, and 1) who have the desire to pursue graduate training in Music Therapy, or 2) who desire an additional skill set for self-employment in human services e.g. working with children, youth, elderly, substance use, rehabilitation, etc.
  • BA in Music (4-year): Designed for students desiring a solid foundation in musical skills, knowledge, and performance, with goals of self-employment and/or after-degree and graduate school paths (music and non-music options).
  • BA in Music (3-year): Designed for students desiring a competent foundation in musical skills and knowledge, with goals of self-employment and/or continuing education certificate and diploma programs. Not intended for post-graduate degree track, though there are limited graduate degree options depending on program and country (music and non-music options).

Applied Areas: Classical guitar, harpsichord, organ, percussion, piano, strings (violin, viola, cello, and double bass), voice, woodwinds (flute, clarinet, oboe, and bassoon), and brass (trumpet, trombone, French horn, and tuba/euphonium).
