Built on existing strong minerals exploration MSc programs, TIMREX is a joint master’s degree in mineral exploration with add-on innovation and entrepreneurship skills. The program has a strong emphasis on field activities and the application of innovative exploration techniques and solutions is the specialty of TIMREX among the EIT-Labelled master programs. Intensive fieldwork is expected from the students during the summer period between the first and second years of study. Students will develop their entrepreneurship, innovative and socio-civic skills, with strong support from industrial and research partners.

The Master Programme in Applied Computational Science with a specialisation in Geology will give you detailed knowledge about the underlying methods with respect to geology. You will learn how to study complex processes in natural sciences and how Computational Science can contribute to knowledge evolution in society.

Understanding proteins is central to understanding and solving both medical and biochemistry-related problems on the molecular level. This programme explores the molecular structures and functional mechanisms of a large number of proteins. Graduates from the programme will master methods of cloning, expression and purification of proteins, and a number of specialised techniques for analysing proteins. They will also be able to understand and use primary scientific publications and have the ability to independently plan, carry out and critically evaluate experiments.
