The aim of our program is to establish a research and education center with high standards by following innovative economic theory and providing developments in the literature to our students. The Department of Economics values international communication with the world’s leading universities. Our target is to give our graduates the ability of understanding and analyzing the contemporary subjects and problems of the Turkish and world economy with the appropriate methods.

Thanks to the flexibility in course selection and course variety, our students will not only be able to enrich their course program by taking courses in fields other than Economics, but also will be able to complete the 4-year 240 ECTS Bachelor education in 3 years.

The objectives of the department are to supply an overall and comprehensive outlook on economic issues, to develop analytical skills to understand macroeconomic and microeconomic issues, to provide mathematical and statistical methods in analysing economic phenomena, to improve research skills for analysing economic and social phenomena.

The role of financial markets in shaping global economic architecture has gained momentum through the rapid improvements in information and communication technologies. Globalization has led to the standardization of products and technological infrastructure and thus integration and interdependence of the financial markets. Today financial transactions in banking, capital markets, and other financial services take only seconds.

Statistical Analysis is one of the basic means of the modern scientific thinking, together with stochastic modeling. Statistical techniques, because of the need of getting accurate and coherent results from the acquired data, are beneficial in many fields, such as business administration, economics, computer, medical sciences, actuary, and administration.

The objective of the program is to prepare the students giving them contemporary business knowledge for doing scientific researches, reaching new information, assessing the knowledge, interpreting and producing original knowledge, and thus having important tasks and responsibilities in the management of institutions that have great impacts on the society and business life.

Kadir Has University Finance and Banking Doctorate (Ph.D.) Program serves individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in finance either as an academic in universities or as a professional in finance sector institutions and organizations. Considering the value of time, students must select courses according to the specialization that they seek to achieve a maximum possible benefit in their learning and thesis research endeavors.

This program is intended for both the ones who plan to have an academic career in accounting and finance and want to have a good background in accounting and finance. This program aims to train specialists equipped with basic knowledge, methods, techniques, and applications in the field of accounting finance, analytical thinking, and the ability to make the right decisions.

The Department of International Trade and Finance prepares students for business life, training them as professionals, who can design strategies suitable for international trade, position Turkish goods, and services in an international environment, understand the structure of international trade establishments, and contribute to the national economy by analyzing various financial models.

Meeting international trade demands is only possible with strong knowledge of international trade and a well-planned logistics process. There is no logistics without trade, no trade without logistics. In this context, our department trains professionals who are competent in both international trade and logistics.

Master of Arts in Audit and Risk Management, the first post-graduate program that brings a holistic approach to the fields of auditing and risk management, is offered directly by the Interdisciplinary Audit and Risk Management Department within the Institute of Social Sciences.
