International Studies Center offers complex and integrated preparatory programs in Hungarian Language Courses for degree studies that meet the language development needs of international students and facilitate their integration into the context of higher education in Hungary.

NZIoS English Language Development courses are designed to help students make accelerated progress in learning in each of the core four English Language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking and with concentration on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. The courses allow students to study EL at any level from one to three and progress through levels one to three. For students aspiring to advance further the courses prepare students for Academic English programmes at level 4 and Level 5.These courses will equip you to communicate in English independently so you can converse in familiar, everyday life situations in an English language environment.

Get an introduction to Ireland’s culture by learning the basics of the Irish language.

This qualification is intended for learners of English as an additional language, who attend NZQA approved programmes delivered in Aotearoa New Zealand or off-shore. The qualification is at a level comparable to the Common European Framework or Reference (CEFR) B2. It allows the kiwi community, employers and educational institutions to recognise the level at which the graduate can use English for general, workplace or academic purposes.

This qualification is intended for candidates of English as an additional language, who wish to pursue academic study requiring high levels of English language competency. Graduates will have the language skills required to communicate independently and effectively in a wide range of familiar and unfamiliar situations with fluency and flexibility in academic contexts. This qualification is at a level comparable to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) high B2. This qualification allows educational institutions and professional bodies to recognise the level at which the graduate can use English for academic purposes.

The NZIOS NZCEL (Applied) (Level 3) programme aims to develop students’ language skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening which will be applied to a specific academic context. The targeted learners are students who are living overseas or in NZ who wish to improve their English proficiency so as to progress through an education pathway to successfully access higher tertiary education options in New Zealand, or internationally. The programme consists of 27 credits from the five EAP unit standards and 35 credits from five unit standards in the English Language domain. The unit standards for the NZCEL (Applied) Level 3 are specified in the NZCEL Guiding Document (May 2019).
