3 Energy Sciences Course Programs

The objective of the training is to provide students with expertise in the energy sector and decarbonization issues. Sufficient knowledge of the sector to measure the impacts of technological innovation on the entire energy system, and to master the conversion systems as well as the methods, tools and criteria on which decisions are made. This training targets students planning a research career after preparing a thesis.

Doctoral Training Alliance Energy focuses on producing doctoral graduates equipped with the skills and experience to tackle the global challenge of ensuring future security and sustainability of energy supplies and energy demand management.

Learn the fundamental regulatory principles of the electricity and gas sectors through hands-on, real case activities and examples with instructors from national regulatory authorities from Europe and North America, the European Commission, academia and energy companies. After this course, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the regulation of distribution, transmission and generation, wholesale and retail markets, demand response and the future of power systems and regulation.
