4 Performing Arts BA Degree Programs in Poland

This BA course explores the many ways in which the cinematographer participates in the collaborative process of translating screenplays into meaningful and stimulating films. We work in pre-production, on set as well as on color correction as we believe in including the cinematographer on all stages of the filmmaking process. Exercises, workshops, and masterclasses with one of the most renowned names of Polish cinematography. Critical and analytical study of the history and development of cinematography gives our students a solid foundation in the art and craft of their future careers. The aim is to improve and expand the students' technical knowledge and skills using all of the above-mentioned methods of image capture. Cinematography graduates who complete their studies in Poland are in big demand in Europe as well as the North American continent, being hired for commercials, videos as well as big-budget productions. Graduates of the Bachelor's program at the Warsaw Film School have the opportunity to continue their Master's studies at the Los Angeles Film Academy or the New York Film Academy with a $15,000 tuition discount.

Thi program blends academic theory with practical skills to equip students with the comprehensive knowledge they need in order to find a job in the competitive field of film and games industry. Students learn the professional skills necessary to become a film or video games director. Students will work on each others' productions with different crews, directors, cinematographers, actors, producers, game designers and receive a practical experience that helps to prepare upon entering the film and video game industry. Each student makes 4 films /exercises during the academic year plus the end of year film, all in close cooperation with other students of different specialization. Teamwork and cooperation are our fundamentals.

The Department provides young artists with vocal and acting training, preparing them for working at music theatres (opera, operetta, musical) and for stage, activity using different vocal forms – songs, cantatas, and oratorios.

Graduates of this specialization have skills that allow them to work as a sound engineer or assistant. It is characterized by the ability to implement various forms of audio recordings, to create the sound setting of shows and to implement multimedia sound forms, for example in advertising agencies and companies providing Internet services.
