11 Computer Science Associate Programs

The Associate in Computer Science, Direct Transfer Agreement/Major Related Program (DTA/MRP) is applicable to students planning to prepare for computer science and related majors at universities and colleges in Washington. This degree guide meets all of the requirements of the Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA).

This degree is intended to prepare students to transfer to Washington’s public four-year colleges and universities and many private colleges with junior standing and the majority of the prerequisites for selected science, mathematics, and engineering majors completed. This degree partially fulfills the general education requirements as explained in the Associate of Arts, Direct Transfer Agreement, AA-DTA degree. This degree does not guarantee admission into the major.

The Associate in Science in Computer Science for Transfer, also called Computer Science AS-T Degree, is designed to prepare students for a seamless transfer with junior status to a CSU campus in a program or major in Computer Science for completion of a baccalaureate degree. Students completing this Computer Science AS-T degree are guaranteed admission to the CSU system, but not to a particular campus or major.
