The representative of Mexico, @Marisol Delgado Torres from the University of Sonora - also representing the Mexican Association for International Education (@AMPEI) - participated in the panel talking about the different mobility options that exist in Mexico. He commented in the first instance on how higher education is constituted in Mexico, sharing the advantages and disadvantages of public institutions and private institutions, as well as the great opportunity that the online modality is being today. He explained which are the ways to carry out studies in Mexico: bilateral agreements, collaboration networks (mainly with the Latin American Academic Exchange Program and the Academic Program for Educational Mobility), virtual modality (eMovies, COIL and mirror classes), adding that this Last way had the same benefits as face-to-face mobility. He added that Mexico has 2,435 programs on the #CONACYT National Quality Postgraduate Program register to carry out a postgraduate program, both for national and international students and that currently several proposals are accepted for the different scholarships that are offered. Before concluding his participation, he answered some doubts from the public, where he expressed the uncertainty of the institutions about the return of face-to-face mobilities, commenting that they may be able to resume for the second half of 2021 if the global contingency is controlled. In the end, he shared with the listeners a video about the cultural richness that Mexico has, encouraging them to join one of the programs offered by the different institutions in the country.
