Community Worker is a dynamic program designed to prepare you to work with individuals, organizations, and communities. You'll learn to work across a range of issues including social justice, poverty, housing, violence, food justice, immigration, and settlement in ways that are responsive to their multiple and changing needs. There is also an accelerated program stream available that is suitable for students with an existing diploma or degree.

Facilitated by the School of Community and Health Studies, Community and Justice Services courses will help you to gain the expert knowledge and practical skills to work in diverse settings that address youth and adult populations that are at risk, currently incarcerated involved with the criminal justice system, or involved in rehabilitation programs.

Georgian’s Retirement and Assisted Care Management graduate certificate program provides students with a combination of business and hospitality skills, as well as health care and wellness knowledge.

Fitness and Health Promotion is a two-year Ontario college diploma program for students interested in the fitness industry. Students will learn anatomy and physiology, nutrition, principles of fitness, athletic injuries, and personal training. Graduates of this program can perform the roles and responsibilities of a fitness consultant or personal trainer.

A four-year Bachelor of Arts, Multidisciplinary Studies prepares students for life in an ever-changing world. As creative and global thinkers with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills tied to application in the real world, graduates of the Red Deer Polytechnic BA Multidisciplinary Studies will be prepared to enter a world in which they shape their own path and the world around them.

The Certificate in Adult Education focuses on: understanding adult education learning theory and philosophies; becoming aware of the diverse needs of adult learners; and, learning and applying the methodologies and strategies needed to teach adults. The CAE consists of 9 courses (36 semester hours). Three (six semester hour) courses are offered by Holland College, and six (three semester hour) courses are offered by UPEI. Holland College and UPEI offer the required courses on a yearly basis and the electives over a two-year period.
