Oregon Tech’s Civil Engineering degree will provide you with the real world, hands-on education to practice structural, transportation, water resources/environmental, and geotechnical engineering, incorporating professional communication skills and teamwork.

This course offers the perfect introduction into the world of Infrastructure and Built Environment. You'll learn the core concepts of civil engineering construction principles, processes and materials, advanced technology applications, structural mechanics, design and documentation of reinforced concrete and steel structures, documentation of urban roads, land surveying, 2D/3D/BIM software.

ENGINEERING FOUNDATION Engineering is a complicated subject that requires hard work and commitment to achieve success.

The Diploma in Construction and Building Engineering provides students with knowledge in civil engineering within a construction environment.

Our civil engineering technology program is a hands-on curriculum designed to move you directly into the engineering field in supporting roles as an engineering technician, construction inspector, or land surveyor.

The Civil Engineering programme will enable learners to become involved in the design, construction, and maintenance of residential and industrial buildings and public infrastructures such as bridges, roads, and canals dams.

The Associate in Engineering (AE) degree shall be granted for a planned study program consisting of a minimum of 60 semester hours of credit (SHC) of courses. Within the degree program, the institution shall include opportunities to achieve competence in reading, writing, oral communication, fundamental mathematical skills, and basic computer use.

The Program includes aluminum fabrication and repair, carbon fiber and fiber glass lay ups and repair, Non-Destructive Evaluation (liquid penetrant and eddy current), and refinishing and painting. This Transport Canada approved program provides theory and hands-on training to prepare students for certification by Transport Canada, as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures AME-S. 12 months credit towards the 36 months practical work experience required for certification.

The Associate in Occupational Science (A.O.S.) degree program offers core training in the practical aspects of construction and repair of equipment and structures built with steel.
