The Nursery Management Specialist Associate in Science degree program provides advanced training for working in the wholesale and retail nursery industry. Students will learn growing and maintenance practices for a wide variety of plant species, advanced propagation techniques, watering systems, basic soil and fertilizer chemistry, pest and disease control, and nursery business operations.

The Associate in Science in Agriculture Plant Science for Transfer Degree provides for applying the various principles of the biological and physical sciences in agriculture. The course offerings are fundamental and broad in scope to transfer and prepare to seek employment.

Students completing this program will be well-informed of physical, chemical, and biological principles and processes of plants and soils. Mastering these principles allow the selection of effective programs of plant development, irrigation, fertility, pest management, and soil management. Completion of the program prepares students for careers in management of tree, vine, vegetable, and field crops.

Certificate III in Nursery Operations includes classroom and practical training and assessment to develop skills and knowledge in crop/plant selection, cultivation, management of soil, irrigation, fertilizers, weeds, control of pests and diseases, handling of chemicals, and work health and safety procedures (WHS).

Our A.A.S. in Horticulture: Cannabis Biology and Cultivation Track expands on horticulture's tradition of teaching garden cultivation and management skills to include the understanding, and application of the cannabis plant.

This qualification allows individuals to develop post-trade skills and knowledge to become specialists within the production horticulture industry.

The International GCSE in Science (Double Award) aims to impart a systematic body of scientific knowledge and facts, and an understanding of scientific concepts, principles, themes and patterns.

The Horticulture Technology curriculum is designed to prepare individuals for various careers in horticulture. Classroom instruction and practical laboratory applications of horticultural principles and practices are included in the program of study.

The Agriculture program was developed in response to state and local for training needs for skilled workers in agriculture. Agriculture provides several career pathways, including agribusiness, horticulture, crop production, aquaponics, precision agriculture, and Ag education.

Based on current standards and working drawings, the participant can establish smaller facilities with tiles and plants under current requirements and rules regarding: safety, environment, and working environment. The participant can perform everyday care tasks. Participants can operate machines, tools, and hand tools used in solving the tasks.

SCIENCE FOUNDATION This course combines study in Chemistry, Biology and Maths. English classes support this to help improve your level ready for further university study.
