Berkeley City College’s A.A. Degree in Multimedia Arts—Video Arts prepares students for entry-level jobs in video production and editing fields and provides upgraded skills for those already employed in multimedia or film-related jobs. The program focuses on developing artistic, critical thinking, equipment, and computer skills.

This certificate prepares students for careers in multimedia graphics and computer animation. This includes instruction in photo manipulation, web animation, motion graphics, compositing, basic modeling and 3D animation using the latest equipment and software available.

The purpose of the Multimedia Studies associate degree program is to provide a multimedia transfer program in the area of digital design with an emphasis on the computer as a tool for the creation of animated and interactive presentation.
