Berkeley City College’s A.A. Degree in Multimedia Arts—Video Arts prepares students for entry-level jobs in video production and editing fields and provides upgraded skills for those already employed in multimedia or film-related jobs. The program focuses on developing artistic, critical thinking, equipment, and computer skills.

This unique program develops skills in both multimedia creation and business. In multimedia, you will produce interactive multiplatform content including image, audio, video or 3D animation. In business administration, you will gain essential knowledge in management, marketing and accounting.

This program offers you specialized training in marketing and multimedia, while giving you a solid foundation in business.

Multimedia & Interactive Technology (MIT) is a two-year program that leads to an Associate in Applied Science Degree, AAS. A wide array of interactive media products and services are in high demand. The MIT program prepares students to meet this demand by offering training in web design, graphic arts, digital photography/videography, social media, and game and app development. The Web Designer AAS degree and all but one of the certificates are available entirely online.

This certificate prepares students for careers in multimedia graphics and computer animation. This includes instruction in photo manipulation, web animation, motion graphics, compositing, basic modeling and 3D animation using the latest equipment and software available.

Arena Multimedia Specialist Programme (AMSP) is a two year Advanced Diploma course which effectively trains you in 2D and 3D, Animation, Multimedia, Web Designing and Gaming.

The Multimedia Production program prepares graduates for employment in radio, television, audio-visual, social media, and other multimedia areas. Students completing this associate degree program may also qualify to continue their education at the baccalaureate level in multimedia, communications, broadcasting, or other multimedia-related fields.

The Interactive Multimedia specialization prepares students for the design and development of multimedia programs and websites that combine a variety of audiovisual elements including text, graphics, audio, animation and video. The Interactive Multimedia specialization emphasizes the more popular multimedia development tools and programming languages used in industry today.

The Level 5 Multimedia Production course provides a grounding in the tools and techniques used for working across a range of sectors. From interactive media, video production, sound production and graphic design skills, graduates of the Multimedia Production course have more opportunities than ever before.
