The Certificate of Home Staging provides students with the basics of the Home Staging business, including in site-training with a Professional Home Stager. Cañada College is the only community college in the Bay Area offering this certificate.

This Level 1 course offers an opportunity to try your hand at home improvements such as joinery, plumbing and building maintenance. You will gain essential DIY skills and a qualification. It sounds like the Level 1 course in home improvements offers participants the opportunity to learn and practice basic skills in areas such as joinery, plumbing, and building maintenance. Here's what participants might expect from the course: Hands-on Experience: Participants will have the chance to gain practical experience in various home improvement tasks, including basic joinery (e.g., woodworking), plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, installing fixtures), and building maintenance (e.g., repairing walls, painting). Essential DIY Skills: The course aims to equip participants with essential do-it-yourself (DIY) skills that they can apply to projects in their own homes or potentially in a professional setting

This course will help you to recognise the warning signs of damp problems, where past conservation efforts may have gone wrong and to explore the different techniques and methods you can use to reduce or eliminate the problem. Part of the course will be run as a ‘building surgery’, where you will be able to get consultation and advice on how to make your home nicer to live in, cheaper to run and more environmentally friendly.
