12 Genetics Preparatory Programs

FFWD-Plants focuses on quantitative genetics methods, including population genetics and marker-trait association studies, to discuss ways in which the discovery and use of agrobiodiversity can be accelerated for crop improvement. The host of FFWD-Plants is the group of Translational Plant Genomics at Scuola Sant'Anna, which will provide the core training in the course. 

Our summer school is a practical, full-immersion course covering biotechniques that can be applied to the study of several biological subjects related to cell biology, gene expression and ultrastructural observations.

Successful completion of this pathway will lead to the award of one of the following from Swansea University: BSc (Hons) Biochemistry, BSc (Hons) Biochemistry and Genetics, BSc (Hons) Genetics, BSc (Hons) Medical Biochemistry, BSc (Hons) Medical Genetics.

The Equine Studies Program prepares students for entrance into the equine workforce, focusing on the thoroughbred racing, breeding, and sales industry. The Associate in Science in Biology for Transfer (AS-T) degree is designed to prepare a transfer pathway for students who plan to complete a baccalaureate degree in biology or a similar major at a California State University (CSU).

This course is a great option if you would like to study a Science subject at a higher level but don’t want to pick a single Science A-Level, or feel that a course with some coursework assessment will allow you to achieve a better outcome.

The transfer program offers one Associate of Science degree. Although there is only one degree, there are multiple disciplines within this degree.
