Accessible after high school or higher education, this one-year French as a Foreign Language & Audiovisual program will help students reach a sufficient level of written, spoken French and fundamental knowledge of filmmaking in order to pursue a higher education in France in the audiovisual fields.

EICAR offers a One Year Filmmaking Program covering the fundamentals of visual storytelling – directing, editing, screenwriting, cinematography, producing. This program is designed to give the candidate the opportunity to discover and practice all basic aspects of the filmmaking craft.

ESRA Film school offers 4 weeks Filmmaking Summer programs in Paris, Cannes, Brussels and New York City. These programs take place twice in July each year.

Enhance your Filmmaking skills, knowledge, and understanding with BIMM University’s practical CertHE Screen and Film. This one-year course offers an exciting opportunity for filmmakers to delve into their craft through engaging lectures, workshops, and the creation of a comprehensive creative portfolio exploring the vibrant city of Berlin. This course is available at  BIMM University Berlin (Germany) but is currently not available to international students who require sponsorship of a Student Route Visa. 

An introduction to the art and craft of storytelling through the moving image. Particular emphasis is given to writing short scripts. Topics covered include character development and narrative structure as it applies to shorts, features, and episodic television.

The One Year Film Program is an intense and thorough expediated course that provides a solid platform to explore new dimensions in the field of International Media and Entertainment. This course prepares students for the burgeoning media field, and to be successful in the professional international world of Visual Media.

The certificate in Filmmaking and Cinematic Arts will provide students with a hands-on, project-based overview of all elements of filmmaking, from the treatment of the script, art design to the production and editing to the final distribution. Upon completion of the certificate program, students will have general practical experience in producing, directing, screenwriting, art direction, casting, cinematography, lighting, sound, set design, graphics, editing, post-scoring and distribution. Students will acquire an understanding of the collaborative nature of filmmaking while working directly with industry professionals. New York Film Academy Australia delivers the nationally recognised program CUA51020 - Diploma of Screen and Media with selected subjects focusing on filmmaking. The Academy's CUA51020 - Diploma of Screen and Media - Filmmaking program gives students all of the fundamental skills necessary to make their own films.

Designed for those with little or no experience of filmmaking, this intensive short film course will provide hands-on training in professional filmmaking under the guidance of industry filmmakers and tutors.

The Minor in Digital Filmmaking - The contemporary artist is increasingly cross-disciplinary. The Digital Filmmaking Minor will provide a program of study in which students can concentrate their work in a discipline but also seek ways in which they can enhance and expand their primary area of study. This Minor will support and encourage students to explore ways in which they can introduce a cross-disciplinary approach to their art practice – with an emphasis on time-based work, installation, and the intersection of old and new media including video and web-based art.
