The University of Otago Diploma in Commerce (DipCom) is a NZQA Level 5 qualification that enables highly motivated, near-miss university entrance students to gain a qualification that allows direct progression into the second year of the Bachelor of Commerce degree.

This program offers a full semester (30 ECTS credits) taught in English.

The Diploma of Commerce (Year 1) provides you with an overall perspective of business processes and foundational business skills. The units you will study are designed to enhance your learning experience, and provide you with the underpinning knowledge necessary to prepare you for further studies at the university level. The Diploma of Commerce (Year 2) provides you with an overall perspective of business processes and fundamental business skills.

Designed to prepare you for the challenges in the global business environment. Commerce students study foundation areas of accounting, economics, business law, management, marketing and technology. Through specialised study in your chosen major at Curtin University, you will gain the theoretical and practical skills you need to be confident and industry-ready when you graduate.

Enter directly into the second year of Bachelor of Commerce (many majors available), Sport Management, Business Analytics, Law, or Property and Real Estate.

All along, this Leaders Institute diploma will also give you the chance to develop soft leadership skills.

This program is based closely on the Management and Organizational Studies program with diverse studies in both Business and the Social Sciences. There is a more distinctive and detailed focus on international business in this stream. Students have the opportunity to study with King’s professors at sister universities in Brazil or China. College transfer students are required to have a minimum cumulative average of "B" or better in an acceptable one-year certificate (General Arts and Sciences, Pre-Health Science, Human Services Foundation) or completed diploma. College transfer students may earn up to a maximum of five transfer credits. Individual courses must have a minimum achievement of 60% to be considered for transfer credit.

The Diploma in Arts and Science (Commerce) Program provides courses needed for equivalency to pre-Commerce and first-year Commerce. The diploma program in place at Langara College is geared more specifically to UBC, but if space is available and with some amendments, this program also facilitates transfer to SFU and UVic. 

This training will allow students understand the concepts of management in the conduct of business (Finance, Management – Marketing – Transport Logistics – the stock market – the business law, etc …). Master the concepts of basic accounting and financial markets. Understand the business processes related to the international export of products and services. Use computer tools for commercial communication. To communicate in English and to converse with ease.

If you are among the best and the brightest, the U.K. Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce offers you the opportunity and the challenge of integrating your undergraduate and graduate courses of study in a single continuous, accelerated program culminating in both a baccalaureate degree in Political Science and a Masters of Arts in Diplomacy and International Commerce.

This course teaches students how to analyze major choices and negotiate deals in starting a business, involving people, assigning roles, compensating performance and financing. This course utilizes lectures, group work, journal writing, presentations and handouts throughout. Students will write a group business plan and do an individual presentation.

This certificate program provides you with a basic foundation for maintaining the accounting records of entities in industry, commerce and government. Required courses include both theory and computer application.
