The certificate in biomedical technologies allows you to develop your understanding of the operating principles of systems and equipment in the biomedical sector. The program is aimed at people wishing to specialize to find a job in the medical/paramedical field, people already working in the health sector or people wanting to work in the field of medical device sales.

Certificate in Biomedical Technologies - Electronic Instrumentation objective is to understand the operating principles of biomedical systems and equipment; ensure the proper operation and normal and emergency maintenance of some of this equipment; contribute, within a multidisciplinary team, to the definition of specifications for new equipment with a view to its acquisition and the evaluation of its performance and reliability.

This is a broad-based preparatory stage for one of a number of exciting and challenging undergraduate degrees at Dundee, such as Pharmacology or Molecular Biology. Once you have successfully completed this course, you will continue your chosen degree in the School of Life Sciences.
