24 Construction Postgraduate Degree Programs

This program consists of the SkilledTrades – Heavy Mechanical Trades – Foundation training and a 2-week, mandatory work experience placement. There are four mechanical trades paths introduced in this program.

Students who complete the Welder Foundation program will receive Levels 1 and 2 technical training and 300 work-based hours credit toward completing their Welder Apprenticeship. Certified welders will qualify to test for Pressure Welding IT Procedure tests administered by Technical Safety BC (TSBC).

The International Welding Postgraduate Specialist Training Course comprises 3 semesters, culminating in a degree thesis and a final examination, with successful candidates receiving the Diploma of International Welding Engineer/European Welding Engineer.

The Millwright Foundation Program consists of 24 weeks of foundation training and a 3 week (90 hour) practicum requirement and will provide the skills required for students to obtain level 1 technical training.

The BTEC Higher National qualifications in Construction are aimed at students looking to develop their career into management, higher technical and professional roles across the construction sector.
