7 Pedagogy Degree Programs in Colombia

The graduate of the BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN CHILDREN'S PEDAGOGY program of the CORPORATION ESCUELA TECNOLÓGICA DEL ORIENTE, will be able to: ✔ Interpret and apply the norms and quality standards that regulate comprehensive care programs for children in Colombia, both in the family and in the institutional environment. ✔ Assist in the construction of protective and inclusive educational environments according to the particularities of the social and cultural context of infants for both initial education and preschool education. ✔ Direct training projects that respond to the characteristics and needs of the infant in attention to their integral human development at the different levels of early childhood education. ✔ Design didactic material is consistent with the stages of development of the infant and the guiding activities of early childhood and initial education. ✔ Design didactic material is consistent with the infant's development stages, their dimensions, and the curricular guidelines for preschool education. ✔ Lead the formulation of educational projects for institutions that respond to national and international guidelines related to comprehensive care for children and the social inclusion of the most vulnerable communities. ✔ Participate in research processes that provide solutions to the educational problems of the environment related to the care of children at the initial and preschool levels.

Description: To train people capable of contributing to the conceptual, methodological, and theoretical discussion of the teacher's knowledge, who with their knowledge and experiences contribute to the continuous improvement of the teacher. Aimed at: Professionals from all areas of knowledge, especially education, graduates, and those interested in qualifying as Specialists in Pedagogy and Specific Didactics. Objective: To provide the student with an academic space for updating and validity of knowledge, as well as the development of skills necessary to perform roles that require a specialized level of training in the field of education, pedagogy, and specific didactics.

The purpose of the Bachelor's degree program in child pedagogy of the Latin American University Corporation - CUL, is to train professionals in education oriented to the development of pedagogical competencies, in a framework that articulates theory with practice and allows to recover the character of the investigative as the base of their work, the administrative management of their processes and the permanent reflection of their practice, based on the analysis of educational problems typical of childhood.

To train teachers with reflective and critical capacity, and with an entrepreneurial and investigative spirit, who are capable of gathering disciplinary knowledge in order to significantly transform their relationship with learners, to achieve contextualized pedagogical bets from research by implementing strategies related to detected areas such as priority, in management when preparing teachers, managers or professionals with theoretical sufficiency in the field of psychopedagogy, pedagogy vs. didactics and avant-garde trends, with the reflective experience of evaluation practices and processes.

The Master's in Education from the National Pedagogical University is an academic project with a broad research trajectory. It is characterized by two strengths: the first, which is structured from research groups with national and international recognition, with important productivity that is reflected in the participation of a good number of events, as well as publications of books and articles. The second, that the proposal introduces significant modifications in advanced training in Colombia. Research groups, with tradition, that coordinate the offer of academic spaces to contextualize students' research.

The graduate of the specialization in Pedagogical Innovation will have competences to perform as a teacher accompanying innovative processes at all educational levels and modalities (degree work, research, classroom project, etc.)

Permanent training, research - action, and critical reflection on one's own pedagogical practice have highly significant relationships with the quality of teaching and teacher professionalization. The Master in Pedagogical Practice understands Pedagogical Practice as the teaching-research relationship in which teaching, learning, and scientific developments converge that enrich pedagogical theory, giving a new meaning and a new direction to practice.
