3 Nanoscience Degree Programs in France

The objectives of this master’s degree are to educate future managers, engineers, and researchers in the field of nanotechnology and give them the tools to handle recent advances in nanotechnology and biology. Graduates will be ready to undertake international projects in which these different fields overlap. École Centrale de Lyon is the leading institution of this Université de Lyon master’s program, which is accredited jointly with INSA Lyon and Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.

GREENANO Master is dedicated to fostering the development of Nanomaterials for Green and Digital Transitions which require new performant and sustainable devices. The program is jointly designed and implemented by the Consortium of four leading European higher education and research institutions: the University of Lorraine (France), Tor Vergata University of Rome, CNR Institute of Structure of Matter (Italy), Jozef Stefan International Postgraduate School (Slovenia).

ll courses are taught in English, so proficiency in English is required. Two of the Partners are engineering Universities (PL and IT), which is important for the program goals towards excellence in nano-engineering innovation. The third partner (FR) has a strong chemical nano-science profile which will allows us to teach our students the chemical fundamentals during the first semester in Marseille.
