2 Multimedia Degree Programs in Taiwan

The Graduate Institute of Animation and Multimedia Design was established and started recruiting students in 2007. The establishment of this institute was for the development and the transformation of the National University of Tainan, as well as the acclimating with the developmental trend of international design industries and other related industries in the south of Taiwan. The purpose of this institute is to cultivate professional designers and artists for the field of animation and multimedia design in Taiwan. Students who graduated from this institute are expected to have the ability of animation production and accomplishment on aesthetics. The developmental direction on the research and the creation is on the production and design of animation, including the creative performance, the new aesthetic style, artistic connotation, and production planning. The course structure of the institute is majorly based on practical abilities of the animation production that are applied on cinema and TV, internet, music, and mobile devices.

This series of courses include "Animation Principles", "Scenarios", "Digital Audio and Video Special Effects", "Digital Short Film Creation" and "We Media and Social Marketing", emphasizing the ability of digital audio and video production and special effects integration, And the ability to make good use of online media marketing and communication.
