    Structural engineering programs include classes on the entire process of a construction project. In addition to design training, students are also taught how to analyze a design to ensure that it is safe and strong.     The formal higher education system of Finland is the 7-3-2-2 pattern. The university takes two years in vocational or technical education and finally two-year pre-tertiary education.
