4 Engineering MSc Degree Programs

The Geoinformatics Engineering Master of Science is the first in Italy and exploits the long lasting experience of Politecnico di Milano in both Environmental, Geomatics and Computer Science to form new and multidisciplinary experts highly requested by both private and public sectors.

The main educational objective of this Master of Science program is to prepare an engineer able to “produce” innovation both in the industrial environment as well as in basic research and which is highly competitive in the global market, with particular reference to the physical and optical technology, nanotechnology and photonics sectors.

The program aims at preparing engineers to develop and use information technology tools, in order to satisfy the widest variety of applications. Compared to the Bachelor of Science, the Master of Science offers students the possibility to acquire greater ability to model and solve complex problems, integrating different advanced skills and technologies.

An I.S.E.M. student may specialize in the following areas: artificial intelligence, business intelligence, digital government, digital health, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, information security, smart cities, software engineering, systems development, and technology management as part of their individualized concentration.
