The Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (IME) discipline is concerned with the design, improvement, and installation of integrated systems of people, materials, information, equipment, energy, and money. M.Sc. students must complete a total of at least 36 credit hours, within the following guidelines: course work of 18 credit hours, including 6 credit hours as a core course, 9credit hours as elective courses, and a 3-credit hour Laboratory/Project-Based Learning course; thesis work of 18 credit hours.

The Department of Mechatronics and robotics engineering is the synergistic integration of precision machinery, electronics and information technology to design innovative components and systems to create functional and smart products. M.Sc. students must complete a total of at least 36 – credit hours, within the following guidelines: course work of 18- credit hours, including 6- credit hours as a core course, 9-credit hours as elective courses, and a 3-credit hour Laboratory/Project-Based Learning course; thesis work of 18 credit hours.

Through this M.Sc. program, students will be acquainted with environmental surveying, recognizing sources of pollution, identifying low-cost technologies and principles of sustainable developments both on national and international levels.

The graduate study program is intended to prepare the student to carry out basic and applied scientific research in the fields relevant to chemical and petrochemical industries, in order to develop new products and/or improve the properties of existing products.

M.Sc. Program students must complete a total of at least thirty-six credit hours, within the following guidelines: Course-work of eighteen credit hours, including core courses of six credit hours, elective courses of nine credit hours and a Project-Based Learning course of three credit hours; Thesis – work of eighteen credit hours; M.Sc. students have to pass successfully six courses with three credit hours each.

This program is designed to prepare M.Sc. students for their future career by equipping them with the main educational requirements of professional skills to the practice of Materials and Energy Resources field.
