10 Computer Engineering MSc Degree Programs in Asia

The MSc in Electronic Communications and Computer Engineering (ECCE) combines the University of Nottingham’s academic excellence with strong industry relevance. The programme provides graduates with advanced expertise in 5G/6G mobile and satellite communications systems, AI-driven electronic communications, Internet of Things, embedded computing and digital signal processing. The curriculum is fully aligned with the UK Engineering Council’s AHEP4 standards.

The aim of the M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering program is to provide students with expertise and advanced knowledge in a selected specialization area within electrical and computer engineering. Students graduating with an M.Sc. degree can apply for senior R&D positions in the industry and may continue toward Ph.D. studies.

The Department is proposing the change of programme title to MSc Computer and Information Engineering, effective startingthe 2026 cohort, and subject to the approval of the University. More details about the change will be released in due course.

Graduates of the Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Program are expected to know to understand and use the computer/IT tools relevant to the degree discipline.

This two-year program taught entirely in English, offers tracks in electro-optics, nano and microelectronics, data science and information technology (signal processing, communications, computer engineering), and bioengineering.

Graduates of the Master of Science in Internet of Things Program are expected to know and demonstrate the ability to use the computer/IT tools relevant to the discipline along with an understanding of their processes and limitations.

The MSc Electronic, Communications and Computer Engineering is designed to provide instruction and training in the most recent developments in the areas of technology covering communications, electronics and computer engineering. It aims to provide you with advanced and comprehensive coverage of the specialist skills required by an engineer working in the computer hardware and software aspects of computer engineering, electronic instrumentation, electronic systems and telecommunications (both wireless and wired).

The degree of Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (M.Sc. in ECE) is awarded for successfully completing the requirements of a program of study, which includes taught courses as well as a thesis. The thesis is an independent investigation of specialized areas within the general field of electrical and computer engineering and associated disciplines.
