6 Migration Studies Master's Degree Programs

The International Migration and Global Social Change Master’s program trains specialists with a comprehensive, interdisciplinary understanding of migration and social changes in the contemporary world. It equips professionals to analyze the causes, consequences, and policies of migration, and to interpret the social and cultural transformations it brings. The program approaches migration from sociological, political, economic, legal, anthropological, and cultural perspectives.

This unique joint programme is co-developed within the framework of the 4EU+ European University Alliance by the University of Milan, the Charles University of Prague and the University of Warsaw. It is taught in English and aims to provide students with an understanding of social and political opportunities and challenges posed by global and intra-EU migration. It provides skills to interpret complex political and socio-economic phenomena in a critical way and appraise their normative, social, political and anthropological implications.

The Master of Arts in Migration Studies is a two-year, 31-unit program that begins each fall. Come study with experts, network with colleagues, and work with government, nongovernmental organizations, and grassroots organizations.
