3 Engineering Master's Degree Programs in Chile

To train graduates with a high level of specialization, capable of developing and expanding their knowledge in the areas of Mechanical Engineering allowing them to carry out research in this specialty. They will also be trained to enter the industry in the Research units, and execute technological transformation projects, and practice university teaching in the area of Mechanical Engineering.

The main objective of the program is specialization so that it allows them to obtain the knowledge and experience for the best use of the materials available today, with a broad technological base in the areas of science, engineering, and processes related to the manufacture, design, and improvement of the properties of metallic and non-metallic minerals.

The objective of the Master in Mining is to train graduates with great analytical capacity and a solid base in disciplines related to Mining in the areas of Reservoir Evaluation, Rock Mechanics, Mining Technology, Mineral Planning, Mineral Economics, and Sustainability. The graduates of the Program will be able to face complex problems of Mining Engineering using updated tools or developing their own solutions based on the training obtained in the Magister, and lead research and technological development projects in mining companies. It is also expected that the graduate will have a global vision of the mining business as an orientation to decision-making in a work environment.
