4 Development Studies Master's Degree Programs in Mexico

General objective The student will be able to identify the main traditions and visions that, from the power structures public, determine the design and content of social development policies in Mexico. Specific objectives: The student will be able to:  Identify the most relevant analysis perspectives on social development.  Analyze the relationship between economic development and social development in development theories.  Understand the relevance of theories of justice to evaluate the different types of policies and social programs.  Acquire the basic conceptual elements to distinguish the implications of the different types of social policies and their economic, political, and legal implications.

The mission of the postgraduate programs offered by CIDETEQ is to generate human resources with the necessary skills to meet the needs of technological development, generation of knowledge, and training of human resources that the industry and universities of the country demand. Graduates of the master's program will contribute to the technology strategy and competitiveness of their company, through the implementation of industrial research projects of impact on the improvement of its infrastructure, processes, products, and/or services, with market orientation and making use of methodological and technical tools that promote creativity, innovation, intellectual protection and the solution to technological and innovation problems.

General Objective: To train professionals who have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to design, implement and evaluate human development projects with a humanistic orientation, supported by multidisciplinary theoretical-methodological references, which allow to address the understanding of the human condition, as well as to promote and facilitate human development processes in groups and institutions, based on the integration of situational diagnoses.

The program offers education professionals a possibility to improve their professional performance by satisfactorily facing the educational problems of their practice, through research and development of innovations, within the horizon of professional improvement and improvement of educational quality.
