The Master in Unmanned Aerial Systems is a highly specialized degree, unique in the Galician University System and one of the only two official drone Master's degrees offered in the national territory. Students may choose courses oriented to the operation of unmanned aerial systems, taught by the University of Santiago de Compostela (Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering of Lugo) or oriented to the development of unmanned aerial systems, taught by the University of Vigo ( School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering of Orense), also provides the basic knowledge to obtain the title of drone pilot and allows access to doctoral programs and the completion of doctoral thesis.

The fundamental objective of the Máster Universitario en Ingeniería Aeronáutica is to offer students a complete vision of aeronautical engineering. Students acquire a capacity for design, development, research and management in the field of aeronautical engineering that has as its objective aerospace vehicles, aerospace propulsion systems, aerospace materials, airport infrastructures, air navigation infrastructures, and any space, traffic and air transport management system.

We offer a training in Transverse Aeronautical Engineering, aimed at training professionals to practice their profession and to integrate into multidisciplinary work groups, showing ethical and responsible attitudes, respecting people, the social environment and the environment.

The objective of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos is to cover the existing need for professionals within the aeronautical sector with the greatest capabilities and qualifications possible within the framework of a regulated profession since the present proposal for a Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering is fully adapted to the legislation. in force that regulates the professional practice linked to the regulated profession of Aeronautical Engineer and consequently, the graduates of the degree will obtain the consequent professional qualification mandatory by law in the multiple aeronautical fields, according to Ministerial Order CIN/312/2009 of February 9, 2009 (BOE of February 18, 2009).
