6 Law Degree Programs in Macau

This programme is established since Academic Year 2003/2004 which aims to provide quality education and training in the fields of European Union Law, International Law and Comparative Law, and to maintain and enhance the position of the Faculty of Law of University of Macau as an important institute for the studies of Macao Law, European Continental Law, International Law and Comparative Law in the regional areas as well as this global world.

The objective of the Programme is to prepare highly qualified jurists for teaching and research in the area of law and to promote the studies of law and legal development in Macao in the regional and international contexts.

Master Programme in International Business Law is open to both students with a law degree and those with degrees from other disciplines. It offers a great opportunity for persons interested in regulatory challenges related to global business (such as international trade, finance, dispute resolution, commercial contracts, intellectual property, gaming and other sectors).

The Master programme in Criminology and Criminal Justice has been a vibrant postgraduate programme since its inception in the Fall of 2009. It has made significant progress that has positioned it as a leading programme and one of the largest in Asia.

This course aims to introduce the legal concepts and principles necessary to understand the pertinent rights and obligations as well as compliance requirements in the development and use of data applications.

This course is designed to teach students analytical techniques of dealing with open government data and other (usually big) data that are related to smart governance.
