This module is designed to enable students to understand the challenges of deploying internet and digital technology to achieve marketing goals, and the key marketing activities managed for digital marketing.
This includes:
- operating processes for acquisition, conversion/proposition development, retention, and growth, as well as their supporting processes
- management processes such as strategy, planning, and managing relationships. Therefore, the aim of this module is also to provide students with a deeper understanding of the concepts, techniques, and best practices to develop a digital marketing and branding strategy, and to support all the digital marketing processes

At the end of this module, students will be able to:
- Evaluate the relevance, advantages, and challenges of digital platforms and digital media to marketing
- Evaluate techniques for reviewing the importance of different actors in the micro and macro environment in the creation/development of a digital marketing strategy.
- Relate the digital marketing strategy to marketing and business strategy.
- Assess how to integrate social and mobile interactions for customer relationship management.
- How to create brands in the digital world.
- Appreciate the importance of consumer insights, differentiation, brand promise, and clear brand voice for successful online branding.
This module introduces digital marketing and branding, focusing on how internet and digital technologies drive marketing strategy and growth. It covers key processes such as customer acquisition, retention, and relationship management through digital channels.
