In Spain, public, regional and state administrations are obliged to apply management methodologies with BIM software. Abroad, countries such as Great Britain, Norway, Austria and the USA have already implemented these systems in a mandatory way. If you want to boost your international projection as a highly skilled professional in the field of building, you must include training as a BIM expert among your skills.
With the Master in BIM Management of La Salle - URL you will be trained by the practical development of projects, and you will acquire the necessary skills for the generation of BIM models in the disciplines of Architecture, Structures and Installations.
The BIM methodology requires the use of dynamic modeling software for the generation and management of data throughout the life cycle of a building project. Therefore, with this Master you will be trained with a technological base that includes the mastery of programs such as Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, BIMcollab or Solibri, among others.
The Master is made up of two postgraduate courses: the Postgraduate in BIM Production, focused on the study of the production systems of building projects at all stages and the knowledge of the necessary programming resources; and the Postgraduate in BIM Management, aimed at obtaining the skills as a BIM Manager in order to implement efficient management and control processes in building.
The Master in BIM Management is aimed at students and professionals of the construction sector and is oriented from the field of the management of the integral process of building with BIM methodologies.
Previous training is required:
- Architecture: graduates in Architecture, Diplomates in Technical Architecture.
- Engineering: graduates in Building, Construction, Civil or Industrial Engineering.
Previous professional experience is not a prerequisite.

The Master in BIM Management will allow you to:
- Obtain a highly demanded professional profile in the construction and building sector.
- Acquire the necessary skills for the generation of BIM models for the disciplines of architecture, structures and installations.
- Master the generation of project documentation and the parametric management of BIM models in an integrated way.
- Obtain the skills to lead the implementation and/or management of BIM processes at different stages of the life cycle of the assets.
- Know and master the IFC format and the different standards for data interoperability in BIM environments.
- Master the application of BIM applications such as quantification and economic management, planning, coordination and interference detection.
As an expert in BIM Management, you will be highly qualified to work as:
- BIM expert for project production.
- BIM coordinator.
- BIM manager for the leadership, coordination and implementation of BIM processes.
This master's degree is divided into:
- Master classes taught by professionals with teaching experience in the sector, where you will learn the theoretical concepts.
- Practical classes where you will apply the specific software in BIM and where you put into practice what was learned in the theoretical classes.
You will receive the subjects on a continuous basis, so that each one begins and concludes with their practices before starting the next one.
The documentation and deliveries of the internships are done through the Internet, in STUDY (moodle). With this, you will also be able to communicate with teachers and students and to consult and discuss the contents of the classes in forums.
