What Students Will Learn
Throughout the programme, students will take part in a mix of hands-on masterclasses and workshops designed to build theatre skills and spark creativity. From voice projection to movement, posture and body language, students will learn how to express themselves clearly and confidently on stage. Fun and practical exercises in storytelling, improvisation and mime will help boost their imagination and bring out their inner performer.
Students will also discover what goes on behind the scenes and will be able to get involved in the creative process and help bring the final performance to life. Teamwork is at the heart of this course, and students will work together in a friendly and supportive environment where everyone gets their moment in the spotlight.
In the final week, all their hard work will come together in an exciting performance of an original piece they’ve created as a group – performed in front of the entire summer school campus.
Our theatre summer programme helps students grow as performers while building confidence, creativity and communication skills that will benefit them in all areas of life.
Elective classes run for 3 hours every weekday afternoon (except Wednesdays) and are paired with an academic class, giving students the chance to explore different passions and build a well-rounded academic experience.
