Teaching methods
The program constantly combines theoretical contributions aimed at refining one's reading grids of the international environment and professional practical applications allowing one to acquire professional skills: developing one's capacities for research, monitoring, analysis, writing, formulation of hypotheses and recommendations, drafting deliverables and oral presentations.
The program consists of courses that provide the skills needed to be an analyst. This program, common to all four specialties, is supplemented by:
- in-depth courses applied to the chosen specialty, allowing the challenges related to the profession to be put into context
- courses dedicated to the specialty Geoeconomic risks and strategic intelligence allowing you to acquire the operational knowledge and skills of the targeted sector
In person:
Students in the face-to-face training will alternate between sessions in the entire class or in the specialty class.
From a distance :
Distance learning students will alternate between synchronous and asynchronous learning modalities. Synchronous learning sessions will take place in the entire class or in the specialty class:
- Synchronous sessions consist of virtual classrooms that allow for direct interaction with the speaker, manuscript development, and the organization of exercises. Sessions last an average of 1.5 hours and take place in the evening between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. They are held via Zoom.
- A week of classes and exams in Paris.
- Asynchronous learning allows students considerable organizational freedom, allowing them to consult the materials whenever they wish. These courses can be presented in the form of manuscripts (written documents in which the instructor explains in detail all the elements necessary to understand and assimilate the course), videos, podcasts, or methodological guides. The time required for asynchronous work varies depending on the initial knowledge of the course and the individual's work pace. All resources are available on the Moodle platform.

+ on the integration of graduates
partnerships
IRIS Sup' and the Institute for General Administration Preparation (IPAG) of the University of Western Brittany (UBO) have strengthened their partnership signed in 2011 by developing a program allowing students to obtain a double degree: one of the IRIS Sup' state-recognized level 7 qualifications, registered with the RNCP (National Register of Vocational Training) and the IPAG Master's in Public Administration in Brest. To be validated, the double degree must be taken during the first and second years of IRIS Sup'.
Geopolitics is a recognized and essential skill for managing companies, organizations, and institutions at various levels, regardless of their sector of activity or size. GEM students have the opportunity to spend their final year of the Grande École Program in one of IRIS Sup's specializations: Geopolitics and Foresight, Geoeconomic Risks and Strategic Intelligence, or Defense and Security. IRIS Sup' students also participate in a course on the role of geopolitics in business, taught by a Grenoble École de Management instructor, and benefit from GEM's online resource materials. Students who complete the entire curriculum earn a GEM certificate.
As a European leader in strategic intelligence and business ethics, ADIT collaborates in the development of the Geoeconomic Risks and Strategic Intelligence program at IRIS Sup', in its areas of expertise.
