Accelerate your career with the Master’s degree in International Air Transport Systems Engineering and Design (IATSED), a two-year programme taught in English and focused on industry, accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education. Work with leaders such as Airbus and Thales, master software and systems engineering for complex air transport systems, and gain practical experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects aligned to global INCOSE standards.
Our programme is for you!
The International Air Transport Systems Engineering and Design (IATSED) Master's degree is a Master's degree in aerospace, accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
- It isa two-year full-time programme, taught in English, consisting of three academic semesters and a Master's thesis.
- It is generally aimed at undergraduate students who already have a degree in engineering, science, or technology.
- The IATSED Master's degree has been designed in collaboration with key players in the air transport industry (Airbus, Thales, Eurocontrol, Egis, Cap Gemini) to meet their needs and expectations regarding the key methods and technologies for developing complex software-based ATS.
- By joining this Master's programme, you will acquire a sound knowledge of current trends in air transport systems, learn in depth the relevant aspects of software programming forATS, and be trained in the fundamentals of systems engineering with in-depth experience of managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- The IATSED Master's ensures that you will be in tune with international engineering concepts through the direct application of international INCOSE standards.
The objectives of our programme
- Acquire a sound knowledge of current trends in air transport systems (ATS).
- Learn how to program software relevant to ATS.
- Acquire training in fundamental systems engineering and practical experience of managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects in accordance with international INCOSE standards.
The advantages of our programme
- Technical and management expertise
- In-depth knowledge of aeronautical engineering
- Aeronautical project management and technology management
- INCOSE certification
The Master’s degree in International Air Transport Systems Engineering and Design (IATSED) will give you the best possible grasp of these issues,
- through a range of complementary training courses in systems engineering (requirements engineering, verification and validation, design, logistical support, safety and security, etc.),
- software engineering (architecture, development, testing, etc.) and air transport systems (aircraft, traffic control systems, airports, standards and certification constraints, etc.).
- Thanks to the involvement of a large number of industrial partners in the field, both in the development of the programme and in its implementation, as well as through work placements and projects, a significant part of the curriculum will be devoted to applying knowledge to practical projects.
- This will be an opportunity to put into practice and develop technical and management processes, all in a multidisciplinary context. You will be familiar with international standards and practices as recommended by INCOSE (International Council of System Engineering) and PMI (Project Management Institute).
