The BA (Hons) in Business with a pathway in Human Resource Management is a three-year full-time program (180 ECTS). Designed for those with an interest in people and the people aspects of businesses and organizations, this EQF level 6/NFQ level 8 honors degree program provides students with a solid grounding in business concepts and skills as well as specialist knowledge in human resources.

Upon successful completion of this graduate certificate program, offered over 2 years, graduates will have the knowledge and practical skills to work as Human Resources professionals in a variety of Human Resource settings. Human Resource Management (HRM) is the function within an organisation that focuses on managing people. The objective is having the right people in the right place at the right time. The HRM function deals with recruiting and selecting employees, appraising their performance, deciding what rewards are appropriate, providing suitable training and development opportunities, and providing mechanisms for reducing and avoiding conflicts. Managing people is challenging and the course assists with building a work environment where employees are more motivated.

The course is beneficial to managers who are seeking to better lead their organizations with human resource responsibility.
