The Professional Master in Environmental Planning (MPPA) in the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Planning (PPGPA) together with the Master and Doctorate in Territorial Planning and Social Development, the latter approved in 2012, in the Postgraduate Program in Territorial Planning and Development (PPGPTDS) are part of the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies (PROPPG) of the Catholic University of Salvador (UCSAL), and aim to create competencies, specifically in MPPA, in environmental planning from the perspective of living conditions in their socio-environmental and conservation of natural resources. In this sense, its lines of research and its studies, with an interdisciplinary focus, associate territorial phenomena with social and environmental issues, with special emphasis on the forms of environmental intervention planned in the territory. The Professional Master's in Environmental Planning (MPPA) was approved by CAPES in 2006, having made its first selection in 2007.
