Designed to provide students with knowledge and skills needed for employment as a carpenter. Students will study residential and commercial construction. All phases will be explored and applied on a job site or in the lab.

Completion of this course will provide you with knowledge, Skills and experience required to gain employment in the electrical industry as an electrical apprentice, at an advanced stage. This course will put you in touch with industry professionals and companies as you will have to complete an Industry placement in order to gain this qualification. This qualification fulfils the technical qualification requirements for the JIB meaning, by completing the T Level you would only need to complete less years as an apprentice - leaving you the Level 3 Performance Units of an apprenticeship and the AM2s End Point exam in order to be a fully qualified electrician.

Electricity program graduates enjoy a wide range of opportunities paving the way to a bright and rewarding future. The program will prepare you for installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. For full-time students, it is an 1,800-hour program covering 24 competencies.

Be prepared to provide rescue and resuscitation to a person who has stopped breathing or is unconscious due to electrical shock. The Level 3 Technical Extended Diploma in Engineering also offers students who meet the qualifying entry criteria an opportunity to take an additional qualification in Core Maths.(Quantitative Reasoning).

Pre-Employment - Electrician Admission Requirements Tuition and Fees Program Structure The Electrical - Pre-Employment program will give you the skills needed to succeed in an entry level position, leading to a career as an electrician. This program will provide you with a solid academic foundation and refreshment in the areas of trades related science, mathematics, report writing and employability skills. The program also provides technical training.

Kangan Institute is offering the skills and knowledge required to depower and reinitialise battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Participants will learn to ensure the vehicle high voltage (HV) rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) is isolated before commencing any service or repair work. It also involves calibrating vehicle systems that may need resetting once the energy storage system is reinitialised. Importance is placed in the unit on applying RESS and separated extra low voltage (SELV) electrical safety procedures.

Intended for experienced electricians who have never gained formal qualifications in inspection and testing or who may wish to update and reaffirm their skills. This qualification demonstrates the specialist knowledge and skills you need to be an approved electrician, including designing and installing systems, appropriate legislation, testing installations, issuing safety certificates.

Aimed at those working in the motor vehicle profession who want to expand their skills to offer support for Electric/Hybrid vehicles. This award is designed for learners who maintain and repair electric/hybrid vehicles. It contains the knowledge and skills required to work safely in and around the vehicle's high and low voltage electrical system and electric drive train system whilst carrying out repairs or maintenance. Upon completion of this qualification, technicians will be able to practically demonstrate that they have the skills required for repairing vehicles with low and high voltage electric technologies.

You will experience what it might be like to study on one of our postgraduate courses at CAT and gain invaluable knowledge and skills around the principles of electricity supply and demand management and transforming electrical energy provision systems.
