4 Economics Doctoral Degree Programs in Spain

International Ph.D. in Economics. Université Côte d'Azur (UniCA) international Ph.D. in economics offers training in traditional economic disciplines - like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, financial market analysis, industrial organization - and training in disciplines embedding a complexity-based perspective such as computational economics, experimental economics, the analysis of financial and economic networks.

Statistics and operations research are today of great importance as part of mathematics and as disciplines necessary for the understanding and advancement of other branches such as Economics, Engineering or Medicine, among others.

This program is adapted to a specialized and competitive postgraduate offer with respect to the university, national and international environment, increasing the social prestige of postgraduate studies. This proposal is intended to reinforce the prestige of USC's research career.

This doctoral program provides a double continuity: first, to the previously existing doctoral program, and secondly to the Official Master's Degree in Regional Development and Economic Integration, which provides the teaching period. It deals with a rigorous, transversal program with the participation of multiple areas of knowledge, seeking interdisciplinarity in the analysis rather than the excessive specialization that occurred in some of the doctoral courses of a more formalistic nature, scarcely intensive and with hardly any orientation to the research training.
