The Bachelor of Dental Surgery at EUC offers a modern curriculum based on the highest European and North American dental education standards. Students are trained in the fundamentals of human health and disease with relevance to the oral environment using a curriculum closely integrated to the biomedical sciences. Students undertake classes in state-of the-art facilities including the anatomy dissection room and clinical and technical skills labs with patient simulators and a range of dental equipment.

An oral surgeon is a dentist who specializes in dental implants, face discomfort, and restorative surgical treatments such as wisdom tooth extraction. In addition to general dentistry, an oral surgeon may repair dental and face traumas such as broken jaws and knocked-out teeth. Mouth surgeons can also do face cosmetic surgery and treat oral malignancies. An oral surgeon goes to dentistry school for four years and then completes at least four years of hospital surgical residency.
