7 Transportation Course Programs

The Racing and Training Facilities program supports racing clubs and organisations to improve infrastructure and facilities, which enable the delivery of quality training and racing environments at racing venues across Victoria.

Transport Trailer Technicians maintain, rebuild, overhaul, recondition and troubleshoot diagnostic and repair of industrial and commercial trailers. Technicians are often referred to as Commercial Trailer Mechanics. Commonly known as Commercial Trailer Mechanic Apprenticeship.

Learn about the fundamental regulatory principles of the transport sector through hands-on activities based on real cases and examples with instructors from academia, national regulatory authorities and ministries, the European Commission and the industry. During this residential summer school at the European University Institute’s premises in Florence, you will have an opportunity to dive deep into the most pressing transversal issues affecting the transport and mobility sectors, namely digitalisation, decarbonisation and sustainability, along with resilience. The programme will dedicate a full day to studying each of these topics.

The Regional Racing Events program supports regional racing clubs to attract patrons to racing events which support a sustainable racing industry, provide community and tourism benefits, and develop vibrant racing experiences for all.

The Major Racing Events Fund is a Victorian Government initiative that provides funding to the Victorian racing industry to support the development and growth of large-scale racing events.The program will support race clubs and racing codes to develop or secure significant new or expanded racing events for Victoria.

The Centralised Racing Marketing program supports the three racing codes to conduct centralised marketing campaigns with an aim of raising the awareness of racing events and attracting patrons to race meetings across Victoria.

The Strategic Racing Initiatives program supports the three racing codes to implement strategic projects which support the long-term growth and viability of the Victorian racing industry.The program will support the implementation of strategic projects for the benefit of racing across Victoria.
