The Fashion Merchandising and Design major prepares students to achieve career goals in the diverse areas of the fashion industry. Students are prepared with well-rounded coursework related to the creative, technical and business aspects of the industry.

The Fashion Merchandising Concentration is part of the Bachelor of Science in Textiles, Merchandising, and Design at MTSU. Fashion Merchandising prepares students for the fast-paced, exciting world of the garment industry. A USDA report indicates there is an unmet demand for professionals in the fashion business, one of the largest and most vital industries in the U.S. today.

At this level, you will start gaining a more profound understanding of the processes and techniques involved in the production of art.
