Southern University's new Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree was approved Wednesday by the Louisiana Board of Regents. The degree program is effective immediately on the Baton Rouge campus. The Interdisciplinary Studies degree program is housed in the College of Education and will enable students to develop competencies across a range of disciplines as selected by the students as they prepare for various career tracks.
