The Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and Computing seeks to train professionals who are capable of applying mathematics in those areas of science, engineering, economics, and other social sciences where computation plays a key role. Students will be prepared for the design and use of algorithms and numerical modeling methods and for solving real problems.

Net-centric computing covers a range of sub-specialties including: computer communication network concepts and protocols, multimedia systems, Web standards and technologies, network security, wireless and mobile computing, and distributed systems.
