Our BA Honours Education Studies degree goes beyond just teaching and learning, preparing you for a range of careers in the education sector and beyond. Our degree is taught by expert tutors with extensive experience working in educational settings and explores how education defines the world around us.

The B.A. degree in Mathematics with Teacher Licensure is a focused major in Mathematics aimed at preparing students for teaching mathematics in secondary grades. Students seeking a mathematics teacher licensure must complete a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, which includes some upper-level courses in Mathematics Education, and a minor in Secondary Education from the Department of Middle, Secondary, and K-12 Education. There are scholarships for math and science teachers.

Offered by the School of Education (SOE) under different programmes to meet the current and emerging educational and developmental goals of the Pacific island nations. The school offers programmes in the following disciplines: Early Childhood Education, Special and Inclusive Education, Primary and Secondary Education, Library/Information Studies, Non-Formal Education, Educational Evaluation, Educational Leadership and Change and Tertiary Teaching.

This course combines a degree with a qualification to teach (QTS). Education programmes at St Mary's ranked as number one in London according to The Guardian University League Tables 2020. School experience is an integral part of the course. You spend a minimum of six weeks in school each year where you progress from teaching small groups to whole classes. Placements in schools are organised by us to ensure that you receive the appropriate level of support.

UNC Charlotte’s B.A. in Middle Grades Education program will license you to educate young adolescents from grades 6 to 9 and enable you to have a significant impact on their lives. The B.A. in History with licensure in Integrated Social Studies, grades 7-12, is offered in partnership with Lourdes University. Faculty from Lourdes University teach all of the education coursework on Tiffin University’s campus. Teacher credentialing and certification will be handled through the Lourdes University Division of Education. Meanwhile, the general education curriculum and the content specialization in history are taught by Tiffin University faculty.

This newly developed, strongly vocational degree is ideal for students seeking a fulfilling career in education, while not wishing to immediately gain qualified teacher status.

The BA (Hons) Childhood: Primary Education with QTS is an exciting opportunity for students wishing to become primary school teachers. The course is delivered in partnership with local Initial Teacher Training (ITT) providers and combines a full-time academic programme with a placement in a school setting. This allows in-depth experience over a range of schools and year groups.

Accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Columbia College English Education Program equips students with the skills and the certifications necessary to teach anywhere in the United States, including the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

The Undergraduate Education major provides students with two State of New Jersey teacher certifications and the possibility of a third certification for Teacher of Students with Disabilities, which is optional.

The B.A. licensure in Middle School Education is offered in partnership with Lourdes University. Faculty from Lourdes University teach all of the education coursework on Tiffin University’s campus. Students earn degree requirements from Tiffin University while also earning licensure requirements from Lourdes University. This partnership offers you the strengths of two universities, with the opportunity to learn from experienced faculty from both universities.
