4 Concept Art BA Degree Programs

Passionate about the world of games and comics? Dream of creating exciting concepts for worlds and characters? Our highly popular BA (Hons) Comic & Concept Art degree course at UCA Fanrham will give you the tools and the network to follow those dreams. You’ll learn the techniques and modes of presentation used in the industry, together with fundamental art skills which you’ll then apply in different ways, depending on your chosen medium. Plus, you’ll gain the storytelling skills to bring your characters and worlds to life.

The Bachelor in Comics and Concept Art course has evolved from our award-winning 2D animation course. Our digital animation program as a whole, is accredited by The Rookies, SideFX, and CILECT. This means you'l be joining a department that's gained industry recognition for training the animators of the future. As well as expert teaching, at Herts, you'll have access to dedicated PC labs, kitted out with everything you need to bring your creations to life.

In our new Game Art & Design major, you will be able to share and build games created through your unique perspective. You’ll learn everything game-making, from introductory coding to playable prototypes.

Study games at NUA and you will join a university ranked in the world’s top courses by the global games industry veterans behind The Rookies in 2021. You will design and create characters, props, environments and vehicles using 2D and 3D content creation software for a range of platforms, including console, web, mobile, computer, augmented and virtual reality.
