The objective of Agronomy specialization is to prepare a master who will have profound and systematic knowledge in the field of agronomy; ability to manage soil fertility and plant nutrition; knowledge of integrated pests management; agroecosystems and its main directions, achievements of agro-biotechnologies and options of use; modern scientific methods and approaches of production-certification of seed and planting materials based.

At the Faculty of Agronomy we deal with modern agricultural production, including precision agriculture, plant breeding, food technology, applied technology, improving the effectiveness of cancer treatment, topics related to ecology and climate change, and other topical issues. The study will interest you not only with its focus but also with its rich practical teaching. 

The Department of Plant Growing and Plant Protection prepares masters in the direction of Agronomy. The purpose of the department is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of technology for the cultivation of crops and the production of environmentally friendly crop products.

With a Bachelor in Agronomy, students learn about crop production based on biological knowledge, discover and regulate the biological process, how to produce healthy crop products and learn about producing the high yield.

Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) was founded in 1987 as a regional campus of Khon Kaen University and established as a university by Royal Charter in 1990.
