Universidad Carlos III of Madrid, cognizant of the numerous relations that exist between economic reality and its legal environment, began an ambitious project in the 1990’s. This project was the first in Spanish public universities to offer students the possibility to study a dual program of Law and Economics or Law and Business Administration that did not mean an excessive investment of time that would unnecessarily delay the students’ entry to the job market.Since its beginning at Carlos III University of Madrid, this dual degree has not only received a notable number of applications, but also highly satisfactory results regarding the graduates’ level of preparation, recognized globally by companies, organizations and institutions that receive the students when they take the leap into professional activity.

The goal is to offer a rigorous, quality education in order to develop future professional careers. To this end, Universidad Carlos III places its faculty’s scientific and scholarly expertise at the students’ disposal, with their complete dedication to the university and excellent academic level, exactly as has been demonstrated throughout the university’s history.
